Zalaris API for HiBob is a prebuilt integration package that seamlessly synchronizes employee master data between HiBob and Zalaris ERP Payroll throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including hiring, organizational and personal data changes, and terminations. The integration helps companies eliminate manual data entry, reduce payroll processing errors, and ensure consistent HR and payroll data across systems in real time. By automating employee data synchronization, organizations can streamline HR and payroll operations, improve data accuracy and compliance, and accelerate onboarding and offboarding processes while reducing administrative workload for HR and payroll teams.

Functionality and how the integration works

The integration uses a webhook-driven API architecture to synchronize employee lifecycle data between HiBob and Zalaris ERP Payroll. When employee data changes occur in HiBob — such as new hires, updates, or terminations — HiBob sends webhook notifications to Zalaris. Based on these events, Zalaris retrieves the relevant employee data through HiBob API endpoints, validates and processes the information according to payroll and business rules, and updates the payroll system accordingly. After processing, Zalaris sends status updates back to HiBob, including confirmation of successful processing or detailed error information when issues occur. This automated integration ensures reliable and near real-time synchronization of HR and payroll data, reduces manual effort, improves data quality, and provides transparency into integration processing results.

The integration installation must be initiated only after approval by the Zalaris Payroll Implementation Project Manager.
