Value statement

Primo connects your IT to the employee data your HR team already keeps in HiBob. Each hire, contract change and departure recorded in HiBob reaches Primo within the hour, and Primo runs the IT side from those dates: onboardings start from the HiBob start date, offboardings from the HiBob end date. New joiners get a work email and their SaaS accounts before day one, and their device is enrolled in MDM from day one. Leavers lose access to every connected application on their last day, and the return of their equipment is scheduled at the same time. IT works from an employee directory that stays current, with the teams, managers, roles and legal entities it needs to build access and device policies. HR stops re-entering employee records and chasing IT with start dates.

Functionality and how the integration works

The integration is a one-way sync: HiBob stays the source of truth for employee data, Primo reads it and turns it into IT workflows.

Setup takes a few minutes from Primo:

Go to Settings > Employee Sync and select HiBob.
Authorize the connection from a HiBob admin account.
Choose the fields to sync. Primo needs first name, last name, work email, start and end dates, team and manager. Personal email, phone and home address are optional and can be left out.
Filter which employees are synced: by legal entity, employment type or team.
Launch the first sync. Employees, upcoming arrivals and departures appear in Primo.

Once connected:

Data refreshes every hour, with no manual action.
Each field is either continuously synced from HiBob or imported once and then managed in Primo. Start and end dates stay continuous so onboardings and offboardings trigger on their own.
When a start date approaches, Primo creates the employee profile, creates the work email in Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra, provisions accounts in the connected SaaS applications (with AI suggestions for apps, groups and licences based on role, team and manager) and sends the MDM enrollment invitation. With Zero-Touch Deployment, the device arrives already enrolled.
When an end date arrives, Primo deprovisions access to the connected SaaS applications through SCIM or API, suspends the Google Workspace or Entra account and transfers files and email ownership to a designated recipient, then sends a return shipment label, unenrolls the device and moves it back to stock.
Every step runs automatically, waits for an admin to confirm, or is skipped, on the schedule you set (email one week before, SaaS access one day before, deprovisioning on the last day by default).
HiBob attributes (team, manager, legal entity, work location) are available in Primo to build SaaS access rules and device policies. Several HR sources can feed the same Primo account if you use different tools by country or entity.
